adidas Forum MID NBA All Star Weekend EASTSIDE Promo Edition
All-Star weekend is in effect everyone, and the sate of Arizona can now be declared a war zone. If you’re crazy enough to go down there, and connected enough to get invited to an East Coast adidas gifting suite, check these Forum Mids that are getting gifted to VIPs. Instead of going to crazy person route, a la Nike’s AF1s, adidas decided to go cool guy with it, keeping the flash subtle.
These Forums feature embroidery on the sneakers, snakeskin velcro strap, and a subtle white 3M on the toe cap and the lace holes to give it a little hit in the light or a lot of hit in a nightclub. When it comes to Y-3 footwear, some fits can get a littttttle bit skinny. Luckily Yohji offers the Hayworth, the least fashion-y silhouette out of the bunch that drops in schemes that won’t get you laughed at. The high-tops have always hit for fans of Y-squared, but the brand isn’t half-assing the design on the lows either. Nike Air Force II High Black/Yellow
The Air Force II never caught on the way its predecessor did, leaving many footwear designers scratching their heads. Why, though? Is it because it’s impossible to improve upon perfection? Excuse us while we throw up, we lack the gene for sneaker nostalgia.
Ha, kidding. Air Force 1s are great, and Nike Air Force II silhouettes come in interesting colorups from time to time, making the shoe cop-worthy. Especially now that high-tops are cool and that the Sporstwear division of the swoosh is taking this silo into its own hands.
