Supreme Inspired By DVS?

Bookmark and Share

Was the almighty Supreme sneaky-peaking at DVS’s lookbook? Probably not, but while we were browsing Supreme’s forthcoming Spring/Summer 2009 collection we saw this ambiguous black sneaker and immediately thought of the HUF x DVS Doughboys pack.

We’ll leave it up to you to decide on the swag-jacking (there’s a lot of black/gum lowtops out there these days), but these two guys do look like brothers from the same mother, from the top at least.

Even before DVS they were apparently a California favorite called the Zig-zag. Just google zig-zag shoes or some shit, not a ton of info/pics but there are some around.

uh no, try again those DVS look more like the kicks the hundreds put out sometime in 08 and the supremes look like vans eras/chukka lows. your blog is an epic fail..

Jesus christ you are a moron, this blog is a piece of shit. If you know nothing about sneakers or the streetwear culture then why are you blogging about it?

SoleBLVD edit team reads comments, decides, “No Comment, post holds.” Thanks for your thoughts. You keep ‘em coming, we’ll keep it going.

Edit team aka ONE PERSON. Are you slow? The shoes even from the top are barely similar. Lastly, if you bothered to find the side view of the shoes you would see that the sole is entirely different. Not to mention these are just regular plimsoles which have been around for years and years.
