adidas Tobacco (black)

adidas Tobacco (black)

The adidas Tobacco was lost in the adidas archives for a bit, and for Spring, the three stripes is bringing it back slimmed up, and subtle. These kicks just dropped, and are perfect for just about anything, even more so if you’re trying to rock sneakers with some fashion-ed up stuff. The first colorway of the adidas Tobacco is out now, in limited distribution. Look for them at adidas Originals Stores (that’s where we grabbed these), or higher-end boutiques that stock the three. Tone it down, homies, and look for a gray/gray/gray March 1st.

adidas Forum Mid NBA All Star Weekend - EASTSIDE

adidas Forum MID NBA All Star Weekend EASTSIDE Promo Edition

All-Star weekend is in effect everyone, and the sate of Arizona can now be declared a war zone. If you’re crazy enough to go down there, and connected enough to get invited to an East Coast adidas gifting suite, check these Forum Mids that are getting gifted to VIPs. Instead of going to crazy person route, a la Nike’s AF1s, adidas decided to go cool guy with it, keeping the flash subtle.

These Forums feature embroidery on the sneakers, snakeskin velcro strap, and a subtle white 3M on the toe cap and the lace holes to give it a little hit in the light or a lot of hit in a nightclub. Very nice, very classy. Hit the jump for the detail shots, or hit eBay if you are the Jay-Z size 10.5 - these just went on sale.

adidas Skateboarding x BJ Betts

True story, adidas skateboarding loves artists more than Swizz Beatz. Next month (January), the skate chapter of the three stripes will release this BJ Betts capsule collection, which consists of two sneakers and a line of t-shirts.

Betts hooked up a Bucktown ST—a relatively unknown skate silhouette that’s pulls from a basketball sneaker mold—and the slim, Ciero Mid (pictured above) that’s not only built for skating, but as adidas describes “fitting into the toe-clip of your bike”. Right. Either way, the tee’s aren’t too shabby, and we’ve seen much worse art-on-sneakers as of late. Check the line below…
