SSUR x DC shoes Moscow
Release Party

Last Thursday night (Feb. 19th) Russlan Karablin, known to the sneaker/streetwear world as “SSUR“, made his way to Moscow to release the SSUR III series: a Water Resistant version in a hunting colorway and a uber-ballistic nylon make up done with a variety of camos from around the world.

Selected invitees, media and VIPs attended the launch at a place called KixBox store, and a private after party at club Gasgolder, complete with topless models and all kinds of Russian debauchery. DC Shoes x NYC’s Rivington Hotel

High class establishments in New York City are known for linking up with designers to outfit the staffs of various restuarants and hotels, but DC was the first skate brand to do it, teaming up with Mario Battali to outfit the staff of his West Village Gastro-Pub, The Spotted Pig in DC skate shoes. Vans soon followed suit with The Maritime Hotel, decking out that staff in Eras.

DC Shoes is back at it again, and announced last week that as of Black Friday (11/28/08) the staff of The Hotel on Rivington would be rocking DC Sector 7 sneakers from the Life Collection. The staff is already looking sharp, dressed in Ted Baker London digs, so it could be a good move for the West Coast skate brand. Anything to get it’s parent company, Quiksilver,’s stock moving. Hit the jump for a look at the shoes that the team at The Hotel will be rocking.
