Besides Kanye mania, these Coraline Dunks have been the talk of the blogosphere for the past several days. Designed by members of the Wieden + Kennedy squad (Rob Heppler and Gian Galang) the sneakers feature movie props like oversized animal lace locks and tails on the heel of the sneaker.

We’re not sure how wearable they are (tails, really?), but the fact that you’ll only be able to win them through Coraline.com has got sneaker-nerds pissing their tight pants. Spring ‘09 Clae Cousteau (Canvas), $110

Clae has been consistently cool since the brand dropped two years back, and we see it hit the market consistently twice a year: Spring (Jan) and Fall (August). The product that just hit retail should show up on the company site in the next week or so, but if you don’t see something you like, hold tight for these Cousteaus to drop as a halfway release around April 1st.

The heavy canvas stock is a nice take on the modern deck shoe, cop it at Clae retailers around the country and online shortly after.

DC LIFE Dress Sneaker, $120

For it’s premium LIFE collection, DC might not have naming conventions on lock, but they do have a great grasp on materials sourcing. This leather low top is made of a super buttery leather and is available now at company lifestyle boutiques. We’re guessing that means retail locations with either a Dave’s Quality Meat or Fred Segal feel.

Supra’s had enough with Terry Kennedy leaking backyard photos of his upcoming signature shoe, so they blessed the blogs this morning by posting a beauty shot of the upcoming skater’s first pro-model.

Kennedy took to his MySpace page for the past several months posting photos of himself in the sneaker, something that couldn’t have sit well with the powers that be at Supra. On several different occasions the skater-ternt-rapper was rocking Purple, Black, and Copper colorways of the strappy high-top.
