Thanks to SOLEblvd reader “a”, we now know what New Balance 998s Kanye West has been wearing in London during fashion week. The sneaker in question is actually a 997.5, not a 998 and stems from collaboration between New Balance and high-fashion Japan based store United Arrows.

U.S distribution was minimal for these, but if you can’t live without them, the sneakers are available HERE for about $183. Detailed flicks below.

We’re calling it. Kanye West is obsessed with the Air Jordan Aqua 8s as much as he’s obsessed with auto-tune. Today photos surfaced of Mr. West walking into his car after a workout session with Jonah Hill and for the 14857 time, he’s rocking a crisp pair of the Aqua 8s.

Yesterday we showed you Kanye West’s low-top Louis Vuitton sneakers, now he posted this mystery LV high-top on his blog. Although it was tough to make out if these were Lanvin’s (Don C.’s favorite) or Louie’s, the strappy sneakers are indeed LV.

The thing about Nike is that even when they lose, they win. Take for instance the debacle that’s going to be the release of the “Air Yeezy.” Nike’s obviously going to lose money being that the sneaker is so limited, and Kanye’s demand for meticulous detailing made the brand come out of pocket, more-so than with regular in-line models.

But if you think they were just going to catch the L and keep it moving, you must not know how the Swoosh machine works. Photos leaked of this new high-top model called the RT-1—a sneaker that will drop late summer for a reasonable $95—that bloggers have already dubbed the “Un-Yeezy.” It’s not a bad looking sneaker, and we’re guessing Nike figures everyone who missed out on Kanye’s sneakers will settle for these.
