Puma x UNDFTD 24k Collection Video

Last weekend the Puma x UNDFTD 24k Mid collection dropped, and the release brought about a long line populated with sneaker heads and Xbox live bullies. The set of sneakers consisted of five different colorways, including an all-gold limited makeup that had the Internet going nuts.

Check out this video where people who were lucky enough to score a pair (and owners of UNDFTD Eddie Cruz and James Bond) talked about how awesome the sneakers were—then hit the jump to see Lil Jon and Mario all up in Puma’s offices having fun with their gold-plated mids.

Update: The video was produced by the good folks at VIMBY. Look for the HD version of the video to drop on VIMBY.com on Monday.

Deep Thoughts with Ryan Babenzien

Sole BLVD will be teaming up with a variety of tastemakers and industry veterans over the next few weeks to give their thoughts on the game, and what’s really good. Hopefully they’ll throw a few linesheets and some free shit our way! First up is a little one man chat from Ryan Babenzien, the Director of Entertainment Marketing at Puma North America. When you see a famous person rocking Clydes, or get invited to one of those Puma dance parties, its probably because of him. Anyway, here’s his take on life as of this morning:

“I should probably take this opportunity to let you know who I am. I run all the Entertainment Marketing at Puma. And my brother, who’s also supposed to be contributing to the fine site that is SOLEblvd, is the Creative Director of Supreme. We run in the same game, although at very different ends of the spectrum.”

Hit the jump to read some thoughts on why you might want to switch your Dunks out for a pair of Puma Baskets, and why ripping on the kids is passe.

Sneaker News: January 26th, 2009

There have been a few posts today on the Sergio Rossi x Puma women’s shoes. They’re at Colette if you’re buying. Here’s an image we snagged of all three Clyde colorways.

Something must have happened over at the Gravis headquarters, because next season’s shoes look good. Maybe it was that “We can’t fuck this up again” memo. [Sneaker Freaker]

Antuwan Dixon is getting his own Supra. Watch out. [Kicks on Fire]

Whoa. Air Huarache Light Bursts in the Jordan 11 colorup. These are super Asia, but super sick. [Tenisufki]

Check detail images of the Air Jordan 2K9 Limited Edition Black version. [Sneaker Files]

UNDFTD x Puma Mid 24K Pack in XXL Magazine

UNDFTD x Puma Mid 24K Pack

The new issue of XXL Magazine is on stands, and along with its ridiculous cover of the Dip, we found this sneaker gem. The Puma Mid 24K Pack drops in red, blue, khaki, and black for $125, and with the gold foil banger as the LE of the group (probably $150 or so).

Eighteen pairs of each color will be available at UNDFTD first (we’re guessing Feb since this is the Feb issue) before it spreads out to Classic Kicks, ALIFE, Atmos, Major, Premium Goods, Leaders and BDGA. The gold ones are UNDFTD location exclusives, 72 pairs total. UNDFTD doesn’t even sell Pumas, and they get a collab. Retail kings. Hit the jump to see the rest of the page and the other colorways.
