Kid CuDi Arrested Over Fight With Reebok

It’s being reported that G.O.O.D Music signee and young rapper-of-the-moment Kid Cudi was arrested in Phoenix over a sneaker battle with Reebok. As Baller Status reports, Cudi got into an altercation with Reebok employees after he refused to wear Reebok sneakers on stage in favor of wearing Jordans. The sneak-tiff got so out of hand that Police were brought in and had to taser Cudi to calm him down. More on the story as it develops.

UPDATE: Cudi says he was tasered but not arrested and the Reeboks they made him wear were the Orchard Street pack. He claims it wasn’t over wearing Jordans.

Buy This Now: Audet x Reebok Pump Omni Lite

Audet x Reebok Pump Omni Lite Gold

The Audet x Reebok Pump Omni Lite is the ultimate marketing fuck up. When images of this shoe leaked back in December 2007, everyone went nuts. Where can I get them? When? It turned out that it was a Japanese release from the store Audet that winter, but would hit US stores in June 2008. June came and nothing. They just dropped two weeks ago with a silent splash. Shitty for Reebok? Yes. Good for you? Definitely.

Just in case the images don’t do it justice, you’re looking at mustard suede on the cuff, gold/mustard 3m on the top panel, gold snakeskin on the quarter, and gold metallic on the lace holder. Cop them now at Karmaloop for $100 or the silver ones at Huf for the same. Hit the jump for detail shots.

Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi SG Strap

It’s almost Christmas, and everyone needs some much needed time off from work, and from the Kanyeezy hype, which by the way has a new release date of April 1 (or so a new rumor monger at Portland HQ told us). So that means you still have a bit to go.

These Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi SG Straps, though, drop in February. They have some Mr. West feel to them, no? With these, the Terry Kennedy Society sneakers, and the Yeezy in April, there are now some very real fashion options if you decide to take that lunar vacation.

Look for the Reebok Ex-O-Fit Hi SG Straps drop in white, pink, silver, gold, and black in February, for $90 at Footaction and reebok.com. For April, a red and purple version will hit the streets. Check the jump for images. A little femmy? Or a little awesome?
